Wedding Trends I Live For

With wedding season in full swing, I figured why not share all the wedding trends I currently DIE for!!!!! I always feel it is good to also get a photographers point of view on trends so you know how it will look behind the camera!!!

Starting off strong, the mix matched bridesmaid dresses!!! I simply cannot get enough of all the color, patterns, and textures that are brought out in bridesmaid dresses. They add so much character to a wedding and this is definitely at the top of my list. 

Another super popular trend I see is the private last dance! There is nothing more special than it being just the two of you (and me, duh)  at the end of the night to soak it all in and enjoy being husband and wife!!!! All the last dances I have captured have literally made me cry and I love watching my couples take time alone with each other!!! Through out the whole wedding day, you will be so busy you won’t have much time to take it slow and soak it all in and the private dance is perfect for just that. 

Give me anything and everything embroidered!!! Even if it is the smallest touch, it makes your wedding day THAT much more personal. Whether it be napkins, your veil, his suit jacket, and anything at all, I absolutely love seeing all of the personal touches added and they are the sweetest to look back on!!!

Being a wedding photographer and getting to attend so many beautiful weddings, I absolutely love seeing everybody’s personality shine through their big day. Remember it is YOUR day and nobody else’s, so do what makes you and your partner happiest!!!!
